All deposits to the Emory Dataverse must meet the following criteria:
The Emory Dataverse accepts only clean, machine-readable data with complete and accurate documentation. If depositors wish their data to be available for online statistical analysis, fully documented R, SPSS, or Stata files containing variable and value labels are preferred. Data files in any format are acceptable as long as depositors provide complete metadata.
According to the Data Classification Definitions in Emory’s Disk Encryption Policy, the Emory Dataverse does not accept deposits of any data considered to be Internal, Confidential, or Restricted.
Individual data files are currently limited to 2 gigabytes (GB) or less in size. There is no limit on the number of files (data, documentation, and other supporting information) you may include in your dataset. If you have files larger than 2GB, then please contact us to determine the best method for depositing your data within the Emory Dataverse.
Depositors must provide complete metadata with your dataset in the Emory Dataverse. After submitting your dataset, an Emory Dataverse administrator will review your completed metadata, and contact you if there are any questions.
