Federal agencies with more than $100 million in annual research and development funding are required to facilitate public access to funded research, per a directive from the White House in February 2013. Many agencies have released their plans and adjusted the requirements for grant applicants and awardees. If you are looking for more information about a granting agency’s requirements to make research outputs accessible to the public, we recommend the SPARC Article and Data Sharing Policies website.
The Scholarly Communications Office provides support to researchers managing research data at Emory.
The Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library also assists researchers complying with the NIH Public Access Policy.
